That's when Uncle Dan came to live with us. That same year, Dad's parents were killed in a car accident. I had a full beard & shaved every day by the time I was 13, and at 22, my chest was hairy & I showed the promise of being has hairy as my Dad.ĭad married mom when he was 20. And Just as hairy as Dad - except for his back. Uncle Dan wasn't as big as Dad, but was still strong & powerful. I often fell asleep with my head nestled in his warm fur. As a little boy, I remember twirling my fingers in his chest hair each night as he read to me before bed. He usually wore no shirt, but looked like he was wearing a wooly, black sweater. He was covered with fur from head to toe & front to back. But the main thing that drew attention was his body hair. He was a fine looking specimen of manhood. At 44, Dad was a really big guy, with a strong chest, back & arms. Besides that, the work kept us in great shape & helped us to develop muscular bodies. We horsed around & wrestled a lot & enjoyed the hard work we did together. Uncle Dan usually manned the fruit stand & I helped Dad out in the field. We also had a large vegetable garden & sold them at our fruit stand at the entrance to the farm. We grew soy beans which we supplied to several companies. So I decided to settle in back at the family farm with my Dad & my Uncle Dan. I was 22 & finished college the year before, but wasn't at all interested in using my business degree.
